Meet Our Founder
Kirstie Burton, the founder and Principal of KB Accounting, has 11 years of experience in public accounting and consulting serving healthcare, insurance, nonprofit and small business clients. Her focus is helping clients improve financial processes, increase efficiency, and maintain accurate financial records through practical solutions and modern technology. She understands that every organization operates differently. That’s why she takes the time to learn about your business, identify opportunities for improvement, and build accounting systems that grow alongside you.
Kirstie graduated from Regis University with both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. She resides in Elizabeth, CO.
Kirstie has lived in Colorado for most of her life. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids
